Studio YYC was asked to work on this brand-spankin’ new commercial space to design and develop a Montessori preschool that older kids can simultaneously use for after-school care. Challenge accepted. My goal for this, and every, project, is “wellness in the built environment”. With our strong background in Biophilic Design and Healthy Homes, we conducted the research needed to design and procure all the components for a healthy, inspiring learning environment.
Working closely with Natural Pod and Noble Toys, two top-notch Canadian companies, we completed our design and handed the space over to the lucky little daytime occupants.
